The Veggie Grill Secret Menu Had Us At Chili Cheese Fries

The Veggie Grill has long been our go-to on-the-go vegetarian restaurant in the South Bay. Their super tasty meat-free sandwiches and salads, crave-inducing Sweetheart Fries and still-don’t-believe-it’s-dairy-free dairy free Carrot Cake has earned the El Segundo location a spot in our regular dining rotation. And now that we’ve learned they’re serving up a few secret off-menu items (a la In-N-Out and other QSRs), they can expect a few more weekly visits out of us.

Here are the menu items we’ve learned about.

Chili Cheese Fries —  Made with Veggie Grills signature sweet potato Sweetheart Fries topped with the Bean Me Up chili, vegan cheese and sour cream, and garnished with chopped tomatoes and parsley.

Buffalo Wings —  A variation of the barbecue-flavored Chill Out Wings, which are made with the Grill’s seasoned and marinated Chillin’ Chickin’ soy protein

El Dorado Burger — Cheeseburger topped with jalapenos, caramelized onions and ketchup (technically this isn’t a secret as it’s footnoted on the Veggie Grill menu).

We’ve yet to try any of the above but based on what we know of their ingredients, let’s just say we know where we’re heading for lunch today.
