Client: Prevent Cancer Foundation
The Prevent Cancer Foundation is an organization that we’ve personally supported for a number of years now. Its mission of saving lives through cancer prevention and early detection is one that’s extremely important to us, and it was a privilege for Wicked+ to assist the foundation in the redesign of its website.
For this project, PCF had a limited budget allocated towards updating its site. Initially, the primary goal was to migrate the foundation’s existing site to an easier-to-use CMS that its staff could easily update with new content such as fundraising events and awareness campaigns. Wicked+ saw the upgrade as an opportunity to also give PCF’s site a fresh, new look that would better serve its mission.
In doing so, Wicked+ completely overhauled the site’s information architecture and designed new drop down and side navigations for greater accessibility to content. The objective was to clearly and quickly educate visitors on the foundation’s mission, its efforts and its profound impact on cancer research and outreach in communities over the past 25 years. The site also provides clear donor, volunteering and event information. Further, a comprehensive “Prevention” section establishes the site as a go-to online destination and resource for all preventable cancers.
