Wicked+ recently designed and developed a new website for PokerVT.com, a virtual poker training subscription service co-founded by poker pro Daniel Negreanu. The preexisting design was static, lacked a community for its member and did not have a platform for offering free content to excite site visitors about the benefits of becoming a paid member. The client was looking to address these shortcomings with a more interactive and user-friendly site that offered additional benefits and perks accessible to both Poker VT members and site visitors.
In developing the new PokerVT.com, Wicked+ used WordPress as an easy-to-use, open-source CMS for the client. The new site design now features complimentary training videos and podcasts showcasing the teachings of PokerVT pros. A community section includes a forum and leaderboard for members. PokerVT Pros now have their own unique dynamic pages that pulls in their specific content, from video to podcasts, as well as their Twitter feed.
